Reporting USCIS to DHS for absence of “so help me God” in the Oath of Allegiance, The first thing I do after being US citizen
——————–
Dear Mr./Ms.,
My name is Chao Yu. Today is a big day for my family. My wife and I have become proud US citizens today.
When attending the Naturalization Oath Ceremony, we received a package containing two pieces of Oath of Allegiance. One is ending with “so help me God” while the other is not, only ending with “without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion.” When the Judge read the Allegiance, he ended without “so help me God.”
The United States of America is found on the basis of the belief in God, who is the foundation of morality and the source of natural rights. It is the ultimate reason why the United States of America is the city on the hill, so uniquely that hundreds of millions of people looking up to and longing for her when they are in their horrible adversities.
Please make sure “so help me God” appears in the ending of the Oath of Allegiance and is being read by the Judge and all the attendees of the ceremony.
